1.Introduction

Welcome to Piplhr ("we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our web-based platform app.piplhr.com, which enables organizations and their employees to document, train, and manage internal knowledge systems.

By accessing or using Piplhr, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other related agreements referenced herein.

2.Eligibility and Account Creation

You must be at least 18 years old or authorized by your organization.
Provide accurate account information.
Keep login credentials secure.
Organizations are responsible for managing employee access and content created within their organizational account.

3.Platform Services

SOP/documentation tools
Training content modules
Media file storage (text, image, audio, video)
Team collaboration and management tools
Access is via a web-only interface and may vary based on your subscription plan.

4.User-Generated Content

All content, including SOPs, documents, training modules, videos, images, audio files, and notes uploaded or created within the platform is considered User-Generated Content (UGC).

By uploading content, you grant Piplhr a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, use, and display the content to provide services.
Piplhr retains ownership of content stored within its systems. However, users may request export or deletion subject to data portability terms.
You must not upload any illegal, defamatory, infringing, or abusive content.

5.Subscription Plans

Piplhr offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid users receive access to enhanced features and higher data/storage limits.

Billing & Cancellation:
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance.
- Fees are non-refundable.
- You may cancel any time to stop future billing.
- Account access will downgrade or terminate based on subscription status.

6.Use Restrictions

You agree not to:
- Use the platform for unlawful activities
- Infringe on others' rights
- Disrupt platform functionality
- Misuse third-party integrations like Dropbox
Violation of this section may result in account suspension or termination without notice.

7.Third-Party Integrations

Piplhr integrates with Dropbox and other third-party services. By using these features, you also agree to the terms of the respective third-party providers.

We are not liable for any data loss, breach, or malfunction caused by third-party services.

7A.Third-Party Authentication (Google Sign-In)

Piplhr offers Google Sign-In ("Sign in with Google") as an authentication option to simplify the registration and login process for our users.

Purpose: Google Sign-In is used solely for account creation and user authentication. It provides a secure, password-free login experience leveraging Google's OAuth 2.0 infrastructure.
Data accessed: When you use Google Sign-In, we request access only to your basic profile information - your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not request access to your Google contacts, calendar, Drive, Gmail, or any other Google service.
Use of data: The information obtained through Google Sign-In is used exclusively to create your Piplhr account, authenticate your identity on subsequent logins, and personalize your platform experience (e.g., displaying your name and avatar).
No additional scopes: Piplhr does not request any sensitive or restricted Google API scopes. Our use is limited to basic sign-in functionality.
Revoking access: You may disconnect Google Sign-In from your Piplhr account at any time. You can also revoke Piplhr's access through your Google Account permissions.

8.Privacy and Data Collection

We collect and process personal data including names, email addresses, device/browser data, and platform usage for the purpose of account management and service improvement.

Data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9.Security and Confidentiality

We employ industry-standard security protocols. However, users are responsible for:
- Protecting their own credentials
- Avoiding sharing sensitive information without proper rights
We are not responsible for data loss resulting from user error or unauthorized access.

10.Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Piplhr reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Breach of terms
- Non-payment
- Legal or regulatory reasons
Upon termination:
- Data will be retained for 30 days for recovery purposes
- After 30 days, data may be permanently deleted

11.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Piplhr is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or business interruption
- Downtime, bugs, or third-party service failure
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.

12.Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Rajkot, Gujarat, India.

13.Changes to Terms

Piplhr may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
