Construction Company Org Chart Template
Construction companies run many projects at once, each with its own site team, while head-office functions like procurement, accounts and safety serve all of them. The org chart has to show both the project line and the support line, or every site ends up improvising its own rules.

Construction org chart FAQs
What is the structure of a construction company?
Most contractors use a project-based structure: project managers lead site teams, while head-office departments - procurement, finance, HR, quality and safety - support all projects.
Who does a site engineer report to?
Usually to the project manager of that site. On large projects there may be a senior or planning engineer in between.
Should labour contractors be on the org chart?
Show the subcontractor lead or labour contractor as a single box under the responsible engineer. Individual labourers are better tracked in attendance records than on the chart.
